We tried their spicy tuna belly roll, fried chicken wings and crispy market fish which was very moist inside We also had their chocolate cake and ovalatine creme brulee which was pretty good and so Asian. Hate the wait but love the food. If you come at 10pm on a Saturday still a 10 minutes wait. I have been here a couple of times before and always excellent. The meatballs in tomato sauce just amazing. We had the zucchini and rabbit pasta dishes and both so good. Cooked just al dente, good amount of flavour and just enough coating of sauce. Very good selection of by glass or bottle wines. Most reviews rate the restaurant by atmosphere, portion size, price and service. These independent restaurant reviewers have no one to please but their finicky tastes.
The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in Vancouver BC, your hotel’s concierge or hotel staff will be able to find restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. Are you looking for something ethnic, local or for a fine dining experience? The concierge will be able to lead you in the right direction and even place a reservation for you or place a takeout order if dealing with delivery restaurants.
Call ahead: If you have specific dietary needs, food allergies or need to host a large party, call the restaurant of your choice ahead of time and be specific. You don’t want to ruin your evening dining out because the restaurant didn’t have a highchair for little Tommy.
