We recently moved to Surrey so we were excited when we heard about this restaurant in our area and thought we'd give it a try. Oddly, we saw some gift certificates for it at Holt. We paid about $75 for $100 in gift certificates, so it seemed like a great way to get a discount on dinner. Dinner was great - we took the advice of friends and both had tenderloin steak that came with amazing garlic mashed potatoes - yummmm!!! I had a fantastic martini on recommendation of our server - it was a sour apple. I find some restaurants have watered down martinis, but this one definitely wasn't - it was just perfect. Our service was just good. Not terrible, but certainly not close to downtown high-end restaurant quality the night we were there. Having said that... this isn't a downtown high end restaurant - so if you go in with the right expectations, its a great night out. We'll definitely be back... and if I see Holt gift certificates again, I'll be picking them up. You might want to ensure you make a reservation too. Read more

I have family in Chilliwack. We decided to go out to eat, so we stopped by Bravo. As soon as we stepped in, we were met with extremely welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Steak is my favorite food, so naturally I went with the ribeye. As someone who has been to many steakhouses in Vancouver, the ribeye I had at Bravo was bar-none the best steak I have ever had. I thought that the staff was great, the food was delicious, the wait was not long at all, and the atmosphere was really fun! They had a great menu (much of their ingredients were either local or home-made) and their patio seats have one of the best views of the beach I've ever seen. The place itself was very clean and cozy. I would definitely give it 5 stars out of 5 and I will definitely be returning to try out other menu options. Really easy to find as it is just across from the pier. One of the highlights of my trip to the beach and a must try for anybody looking for an awesome place to eat in White Rock. :) Read more
